BioEtta Mae is two craftswomen (Liberty & Victoria) who create fine woodworking items. Everything from custom art frames to hair forks to curio boxes to furniture. Victoria does the bulk of our woodworking & does all of the larger pieces. Liberty does some of the smaller items & all of the business side, except international shipping because well I just can't figure out the forms, lol. We both collaborate on the designs.
It all started when I decided I wanted a hair fork, I looked around & couldn't find just exactly what I wanted. I asked my roommate, who has a knack for anything that requires tools (Really she should have been born with Go-Go Gadget arms.) , if she could make me one for my up coming birthday. She looked at what I was talking about & said sure. We bought some nice pine & some tools & whipped up a fork. I came up with some designs & she came up with some designs & made a few more. Once we knew how to make them we went out & bought some good wood & made a few. People we knew said we ought to sell them so we decided to. The company was named after my late sister.
